I have started a new painting. This is a little different for me, as the painting is divided up into triangular sections that are each colored slightly differently. Preliminary application of color. The color of the violin will probably change quite a bit by the time it is finished. Hope you like it!

My newest piece. This is the first work I've done in a while that has been solely for the enjoyment of painting, and it is also my biggest piece to date. I really enjoyed painting this one, but I have yet to come up with a name for it. I originally thought about calling it "Dusk," as it looks like she is standing on the top steps, basking in the warm glow of the late afternoon sun. But I am not satisfied with that name. I suppose I will let it go unnamed until a suitable name strikes me. Any suggestions?
